Andy's Job of the Month (September)

At Showcase Creative, we're always excited to take on new challenges and bring our clients' visions to life. Recently, we had the pleasure of working with Yrs Truly, a company dedicated to helping gaming and tech brands expand their reach through interactive content, digital PR, and influencer marketing. This month we have chosen the project we produced for Yrs Truly as our Job of the Month.

Yrs Truly presented us with a brief: to create an influencer box for their client's upcoming game. The objective was clear - design packaging that evoked the charm of a wooden chest, complete with a captivating feature - LED lights that came to life upon opening.

To maintain the appearance of the chest and ensure the packaging's longevity, we applied anti-scuff matt laminate to the outer case. This protective layer shields the box from wear and tear, and ensured it would look pristine upon arrival.

To make the packaging truly stand out, we used silver foil for the Gord logo on top of the box. The silver foil added a touch of elegance and sophistication while drawing attention to the brand.

One of the most exciting features of this project was the addition of LED strip lighting. The lights were activated by a concealed magnet discreetly placed within the lid panel. This not only created a dramatic and visually stunning effect, but also served to showcase the contents of the box.

Like any project, this one had its challenges. We faced a tight turnaround, but our experienced team was up to the task, ensuring that the project was completed on time without compromising on quality. Additionally, getting the LED lights to work seamlessly required technical finesse, but we love a good challenge and were thrilled with the final result.
